What WEDOS OnLine does#
WEDOS OnLine is an external availability monitoring service. From a network of probes distributed around the world, it regularly queries your services to check whether they respond and how quickly. When they stop responding, it sends an alert.
The key word is external. Monitoring runs outside your infrastructure, so it works even when your infrastructure is down. That is also why it has its own login separate from your hosting account.
